Berry Intellitrack Paw
Sync System

Precision bird-to-paw identity tracking

Increase Yield. Reduce Unnecessary Rejects.
Track Every Bird in Line.

The Berry Intellitrack Paw Sync System electronically maintains the identity relationship between each carcass and its paws throughout inspection and processing. When an inspector identifies a qualifying condition, only the paws associated with that exact bird are diverted at the paw harvester.

IN-LINE

Continuous tracking, not batching

TARGETED

Small, precise rejection window

How the System Works

01

Detect

Top sensors monitor trolley or shackle position; lower sensors verify bird presence.

02

Synchronize

The PLC assigns and advances a tracking record through picking, rehanger and evis stations.

03

Inspect

Inspector pushbuttons electronically tag the exact carcass for a qualifying paw rejection.

04

Recover

At the paw harvester, only the matched paws are diverted while acceptable product continues.

Why Intellitrack

  • Maximum Recoverable Yield

Rejects are limited to the smallest practical window instead of sacrificing a large batch.

  • Positive Identity Control

Bird, shackle and paw counts are continuously compared through each tracking transition.

  • Fast Troubleshooting

The HMI displays station status, count differences, alignment warnings and communication faults.

  • Expandable Architecture

Available for single-line or one-picking-line/two-evis-line arrangements.

Ethernet-Based Control

  • Non-contact photoelectric and inductive proximity sensors
  • Ethernet-based distributed I/O and central PLC tracking
  • Live sensor heartbeat and fault diagnostics
  • Touchscreen setup, calibration, alarms and station counts
  • Secure remote support through a firewall/router appliance or the customer's VPN
  • Designed to support USDA FSIS Directive 6210.2, Revision 1 (05/03/05)
